We wanted to let you know that at Turton, we are again running our Christmas collection for our local Foodbank in Bolton.
Over the last few years, we have collected hundreds of meals to distribute to local families in crisis.
This Christmas with the rising cost of food prices there are many families in great need.
If you feel able to help, we will be collecting long-dated non-perishable food items such as:
- Tins of pulses, tuna, vegetables
- Meat-based meals in a tin
- Jars of pasta/curry sauce.
Students can hand in donations to the Faith & Ethics Department or to their form tutors up until Friday 15th of December.
Thank you for your support; it will make such a difference to those who need help in our local community.
