This Christmas, Turton is once again collecting for a local Foodbank in Bolton and Year 7 is helping to lead the collection. Over the last few years, we have collected hundreds of meals to distribute to local families in crisis. This year with the rising cost of living the need is greater than ever. If you feel able to help, we will be collecting long-dated non-perishable food items such as:
- Tins of pulses, tuna, vegetables
- Meat-based meals in a tin
- Jars of pasta/curry sauce.
Students can hand in donations to the Faith & Ethics Department or to their form tutors up until Friday 16th of December. Thank you for your support; it will make such a difference to those who need help in our local community.
