This year’s school production took students back to the 1950’s with a performance of the classic musical Grease.

Over 80 students, a mixture of stalwarts and new faces, took on roles in the production which saw sell out audiences for every show. The feedback from the show was fantastic with some audience members coming back to more than one show to sample the range of talent being showcased.

The show was also a real hit with local primary schools who came to watch the matinee performance – several students saying that they couldn’t wait to get to Turton to take part in the next production.

The book is now open on what that show will be – but the staff are remaining tight-lipped. Watch this space!
