ROCKIT - Music Holiday Club

All Rockit staff are fully enhanced DBS, with a full safeguarding procedure. Sessions are coordinated by qualified teachers and therapeutic practitioners, and the Rockit music mentor team. We are an award winning charitable music organisation specialising in music, positive wellbeing and community activity, and we work with many schools in Bolton to promote and support creative and positive engagement, including Rivington & Blackrod and St. Josephs secondary schools.

The venue of the club is held in an old warehouse space in Horwich.

Arrival time 10am and pick up / home time is 3pm.

There will be groups split into junior / senior and beginners / intermediate.

Walk activity (weather permitting)

We have a fully qualified walking leader for this activity, leading out the group to places around Horwich and Rivington. We wiIl have access to a minibus so there may be a trip further afield if agreed.

Wellbeing activity

We will have mats and blankets on the floor to lie / sit on. The activities will include relaxing guided meditation, sound bowl therapy and wellbeing and positivity circles. There will be accessible wellbeing activities.
