Exam Assessments 2021

Dear parents of year 11 and year 13 students,

Firstly, both year 11 and year 13 have settled back into school-life incredibly well. Most students are working hard towards their qualifications and making the most of face to face lessons.

As you are probably aware, GCSE and A level grades will be awarded by teachers this year (Teacher Assessed Grades – TAGs) and then quality assured by myself and the Leadership team, before being submitted to the exam boards, who will conduct their own quality assurance process.

With his in mind, we have planned out the time ahead, so that staff, students and parents are clear about what is expected and the timelines for this.

Please find information below that details each stage of the process, evidence collection and the timings of assessments and grade submissions for Year 11 &13 students.

I hope you will this information useful, as you support your child over the coming months.

As always, please get in touch if you have any queries.

Best wishes,

Sam Gorse
