On Wednesday, we attended the Inspection Action Group meeting with the Leadership team and members of the LA, which was really positive. Beforehand, I had a meeting with the Head to discuss the new Year 7 and how they were settling in to high school life. I was impressed with the calmness of lesson changeover and the behaviour of students as they made their way around school. The interaction between staff and students in PE was excellent and so was the atmosphere in the dining rooms. Looking forward to next week’s concert now.

Delighted to attend the Christmas Concert with parents, family and friends of the school. Really impressed by the individual and collective performances of the students and the quality of the music. A big thank you from Governors to all involved and Merry Christmas.

Really enjoyed having Christmas lunch with Year 7 and Year 9 today. Good feedback from Year 7 about their first term in school. Staff and students were really enthusiastic about the morning assemblies. By the way - the food was excellent, especially the Christmas Pudding and White Sauce.
